“I have major white coat syndrome and avoid any kind of doctor unless I'm bleeding out of my eyes. That said, MSN RN Shinault was a Godsend. I literally pick my doctors based off of how judgemental they look in their picture; I knew from her photo that she was the one. Almost full disclosure, I had a somewhat embarrassing gynecological issue arise and I purposefully avoided my primary care doctor because I wanted to go to someone I would never have to see again if I didn't want to, but I left actually wanting to go back. Doctor Shinault was down to earth, friendly, zero judgement. The office is small (one of those you can't believe what's behind the door situations because the building seems old and worn, but the office is very nice), with an ample stack of old US Weekly magazines (A+ for nostalgia). But I could not recommend this staff more. 10/10 pap smears are fun again! Could teach a class in bedside manner.”

Sara Shinault, MSN, WHNP-BC, is a dedicated and board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to women across the lifespan. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lewis University and went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing at Regis College, where she specialized in women’s health.
As a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, Sara is passionate about empowering women to prioritize their health and well-being. The entire staff was incredibly helpful and kind. They explain every step of the process before hand and even during to make sure I was comfortable. They even adjusted to my needs. The desk staff made sure I had all the information for billing, questions, and what exactly I needed for any follow-up which I really appreciated. Shout out to Shelby for that. I did not have to wait long for test results either which can be the worst part at times. Use the app! Everything from results, statements, medications, etc are added quickly.

The front desk staff were nice and personable. The NP was great, very informative and asked if i had questions and answered all of my questions. The staff were also very accommodating when I called the office and needed clarification on a few things. They took less than a day to get back to me both times. I would definitely recommend.

I have not been to a women’s health doctor in over 2 years because of a horrible experience with another GYN I had prior to seeing Dr. Shinault. My first appointment with her was everything I needed; I felt seen, heard and she was extremely helpful and prompt in addressing next steps for my issues. I got prescriptions I haven’t had for weeks filled right away and I see her again for a follow up at the end of the month to start tackling health problems I was too worried to bring up to other providers. Could not recommend enough!

I had my first gynecology appointment and was extremely scared and nervous going into it. Sarah was absolutely amazing and made the entire experience so much better than I expected. She took the time to talk me through everything that was going to happen and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed or uncomfortable.
Before doing anything, she explained exactly what she was going to do, which really helped calm my nerves. She also checked in with me every step of the way to make sure I was okay and asked if I was in any pain, which made me feel very cared for and comfortable.
She was patient, gentle, and made sure I felt at ease the whole time. That meant a lot to me, especially since it was my first visit.
I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Sarah to anyone who may be feeling nervous about their appointment. She truly made a stressful situation feel much easier.
