Sarah utilizes an evidence-based practice when managing your healthcare. Evidence-based practice is rooted in best practices to ensure effective and safe treatment. Additionally, she utilizes her family practice background to establish a holistic management plan, taking into consideration any chronic health conditions.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

ADHD typically takes an average of 5 visits to establish. All new patients are seen for approximately 45 minutes in their first session. During this time, a complete medical and psychiatric history is obtained. After the visit, the patient and Sarah will determine if the patient would like to continue care. A follow-up visit may be required prior to any medication changes. Follow-up visits are 20 minutes and occur monthly to every three months. ADHD diagnosis and prescriptions are not prescribed on the first visit. Please note that patients seeking care without a documented formal diagnosis of ADHD are not prescribed medication on the first visit. ADHD typically takes an average of 5 visits to establish.
