Sarah is a holistic nurse practitioner and family psychiatric & mental health nurse practitioner. Ms. Sarah can provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis of conditions, medication management, play & humanistic therapy and other personalized interventions.
She is dedicated to her worked in the community with women, children, and families to promote mental wellness for over the past 7 years. She successfully completed a master's degree in nursing as a psychiatric and mental health nurse at Walden University.
Ms. Sarah is a psychiatric & behavioral wellness practitioner provides care throughout multiple states virtually. Sarah treats individuals who have concerns with immigration psychological trauma, infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, menopause women, men or women with concerns of sexual dysfunction or low libido, weight loss concerns, children ages 6 to 18 years old with concerns of mood, anxiety, psychotic disorders and impulsivity.

The patient centered psychiatry care that I provide is about respecting your individual preferences and diversity.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
During your first session, the provider is looking to find out what you’re struggling with and why you’re at the appointment in the first place. So, during an initial assessment, expect a lot of questions. The goal of a psychiatric consultation is to find out how you are feeling, discuss your symptoms and diagnosis (if you have one), and start to formulate a treatment plan that’s right for you.

Sarah was 30 minutes late to my appointment and spoke to me for 2 minutes informing me that she did not accept my insurance. We ended the appointment so that she could see what she could do to reschedule and make sure I could be covered prior to service. Hours later I was billed a significant amount. I’ve emailed, called, left voicemails with no response. Contigo is not BBB accredited!!! Beware!!!

I wrote on my form I was currently suffering from multiple pregnancy loss and struggling to focus at work. Nurse Sarah joined the call late and said she was breastfeeding at this time and would not join video. I was triggered as I could hear her baby. I just lost mine 2 weeks ago. I provided in the moment direct feedback that I wished she had let me know prior to continuing with the confirmation or had acknowledged at the top of the call how this could be traumatic since I am here for help with pregnancy loss and should ask if I preferred a reschedule. It was insensitive. RN was defensive and could not acknowledge how it could have been handled in a more sensitive way. She said I couldn’t cancel the appointment as I was taking up her time. I couldn’t afford to pay a cancel fee so I continued. It’s as if a war vet set a call up with a provider who was at a shooting range. She diagnosed me with PTSD and prescribed me meds. I don’t trust this doctor and will not be continuing to see her.

Sarah Jirinzu Carratala, I'm going to call her Dr. Sarah! She is without question the most attentive, helpful medical professional I have seen, and I've seen many! She was very quick to call me back and get me scheduled. She has listened, been so helpful and supportive and has done more for me then 5 other doctors and "specialists" (in the last 8 months). She has helped me overcome so much stress, anxiety and questionable illnesses and continues to work overtime in helping me find answers whenever I need them. She really is the best doctor you can get. I pay out of pocket and I have never questioned paying that invoice. If you are looking for a professional, caring, thoughtful, smart, kind, extremely helpful and knowledgeable doctor please contact Sarah!!!!!! I promise you, you will not find anyone better. Yes I know she's not a "Doctor" but she is more knowledgeable and helpful then any other MD I've ever seen!!!!!!

I thought that Sarah Jirinzu Carratala was very sweet and professional. She was very thorough in her questions and exam and also attentive to all the information I was giving her. I sent in my request from Psychology Today and she responded quickly, I believe I was able to schedule an appointment and see her in less than a week. Highly recommend
