About Dr. Sarah Krasny

Sarah Krasny is a board-certified internal medicine doctor who provides primary care services. She is passionate about delivering expert care focused on chronic disease prevention and treatment, as well as addressing complex medical problems. For each patient, she develops a comprehensive, compassionate care plan personalized to each individual’s unique needs. Her goal is the best possible health and quality of life for every patient in her care. Dr. Krasny earned her Doctor of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Highland Hospital. Before becoming a doctor, she worked in public health research on initiatives to decrease disparities in cancer screening and early detection among Spanish-speaking populations. These programs focused on increasing breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer screening, as well as smoking cessation and HPV vaccination, among underserved Latinx communities. She has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals based on her public health work. Dr. Krasny enjoys being an active part of community projects to improve the health and wellbeing of the underserved. Most recently, she volunteered her time and expertise to provide care through Project Roomkey for people experiencing homelessness in Alameda County during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Krasny speaks Spanish and Portuguese in addition to English and conversational French.
