Dietitian
CA
Do you find that meal times are always a struggle? Maybe you were put on your first diet when you were 5 years old by a well-meaning, but ill-informed parent. Maybe you’ve spent years chasing an ideal body that you see on social media. You’ve tried every cleanse and fad diet out there but nothing seems to work. You’re tired of trying to decipher fact from fiction and don’t realize the impact your nutrition choices are having on your body and mind. A Registered Dietitian can help. Nutrition is a science and our understanding of nutrition evolves as researchers learn more through theory testing and experimentation. Using Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to help treat various medical conditions, I am constantly widening my understanding of how nutrition impacts our bodies. I am committed to staying up-to-date on the latest available data to guide clients toward making informed nutrition-related decisions for themselves. I have a passion for whole foods, a plant-based approach that focuses on using nutrition as a complementary therapy for many diseases and illnesses, both of the body and mind. My goal for my clients is to find that nutrition can be a way to feed not just their body, but also their mind and spirit. This means that each client will have a different experience because each client has different nutrition needs, history, and goals. Together we will review your previous experiences with nutrition and food as well as discuss any existing medical conditions that you may have that may benefit from nutrition counseling. Don’t have any medical problems but a family history full of them? We can talk about how to maintain your current state of health and what tools may be useful in protecting your future self from medical issues.
