Sarah Paryga (par-E-gah) is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who earned her Master’s in Nursing from Maryville University. She has been working in mental health since 2008, with experience as a milieu therapist, psychiatric technician, registered nurse, and APRN in various settings, from inpatient hospitals to residential facilities. For the last eight years, Sarah has worked in correctional facilities including jails and prisons.

Sarah was great. She takes a great approach when getting to know you. It felt I was just chatting with a friend, but under all of the nice conversation and experience sharing, she is listening intently and assessing you to provide the best treatment for your situation.
I 100% recommend her to any patients who might be having trouble in their lives and want not only a professional provider, but also a caring one.

I am over the moon about the appointment I had with Sarah Paryga this morning. As crazy as this may sound, I legitimately had fun during our session. She was welcoming, informative, knowledgeable, and you can tell she truly cares for her patients as people—not letters and numbers. By the end of our scheduled appointment, she had answered every question I came up with, before I asked them. She has a great personality, and a no BS approach to medication management, which I greatly appreciate. She was also very upfront with all of the information about the medications I’ll be trying, as well as potential side effects and recommendations on how to alleviate them if they do become present. I found her to be extremely personable and relatable in a way that opens up a safe space for her patients. I look forward to continuing to work with her.
