What should a new client know about working with you?

We are a concierge practice, and we are out-of-network with insurance plans; however, most of our clients receive reimbursement from their health insurance by submitting an out-of-network claim. We encourage you to please contact your insurance company to verify your coverage, and feel free to call our office or send us a text with any additional questions. Our practice chooses to be self-pay due to our extended appointment times (2 hrs/30 mins), appointment availability (within 1 week), and after-hours availability through Spruce for direct messaging with your provider.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Sarah is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who is able to prescribe psychiatric medications, therapy services, or a combination of both. The first step towards beginning treatment includes extended time to get to know you better. The psychiatric diagnostic evaluation sets the stage for the development of your ongoing course of treatment. Typically, this session lasts up to 2 hours and information about your current symptoms and past history is gathered to collaboratively determine a customized plan of care individually focused to meet your needs. Once your symptoms are stable on medication or you are actively engaged in a therapy regimen, Sarah meets with clients as often as every 2 weeks or once every 3 months, but on average, most clients choose to see her once a month. In between appointments, Sarah is always available via Spruce for direct messaging so you can always reach out with questions, concerns, or updates pertaining to your current symptoms and treatment.
