About Dr. Sarah Soleh
Dr. Soleh is a Board-certified General Surgeon and fellowship trained colon and rectal surgeon. She joined our practice after completing two fellowships in colon and rectum surgery. Dr. Soleh specializes in state-of-the-art, minimally invasive robotic colon and rectal surgery. Her Practice consists of complex and routine Colon and rectum procedures.
Dr. Soleh received her medical degree from Fatima Jinnah Medical University, Lahore, Pakistan. She completed a five-year residency program in General Surgery at the prestigious Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi, Pakistan, becoming a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons, England, and a Fellow of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan.
Dr. Soleh trained at the University of Illinois at Chicago in minimally invasive and robotic colon and rectal surgery under the mentorship of Dr. Leela M Prasad, a pioneer and innovator in colorectal and robotic surgery. She received certification for minimally invasive surgery from The Fellowship Council. Dr. Soleh completed a surgical residency program at BronxCare Health System / Mount Sinai New York (formerly Bronx-Lebanon Hospital). She obtained her certificate as a Fellow, American College of Surgeons. Dr. Soleh completed a second fellowship in colorectal surgery at the Spectrum Health / Michigan State University, an ACGME accredited program. That fellowship included extensive training in both laparoscopic and robotic surgery in addition to pelvic floor surgery and endoscopy, as well as acting as teaching faculty to medical students and residents.
Dr. Soleh has authored or co-authored over twenty-five publications both in general and colon and rectum surgery.
