About Sarah Steele

Born and raised in the Colorado mountains, Sarah received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado. For the past eight years, Sarah has worked as a physician assistant in the Student Health Clinic at the Health Center at Auraria in Denver, where her interest in health education and preventive medicine flourished. Board Certified, Sarah is looking forward to treating the full spectrum of patients with SCL Physicians—from pediatrics to the elderly population. “I really enjoy the detective work of medicine. In my job, I get to poke around at complex conditions and delve into the psychology of it all.” Sarah, her husband, and their two daughters spend their free time participating in outdoor activities including mountain biking, running, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, and rafting.

Would not recommend - visited for a skin appointment and she asked odd, borderline offensive questions about my own course of action with skin checkups after sharing that my mother passed away from melanoma. Proceeded to do a swift, unhelpful check before making a referral to a dermatologist. Left feeling like it was a waste of time and copay money, and also feeling somewhat upset by the doctor’s complete lack of tact and bedside manner.
