Sarah Trigg is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and brings 10 years of emergency medicine nursing experience to Boulder Valley Family Practice.
She received her undergraduate bachelors degree in Health Science and Public Service from the University of Missouri-Columbia, her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Saint Louis University, and her Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN)- FNP from Maryville University of Saint Louis. Originally born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, she has been part of the Boulder community for the last 8 years and counting!

Sarah Trigg, FNP is, without exaggeration, a 12 out of 10. I came in after my longtime provider retired, and I wasn’t sure what to expect starting over with someone new. She made that transition feel seamless. From the very first visit, she took the time to really get to know me as a person, not just a patient on a schedule.
She’s warm, kind, and genuinely funny, which makes it easy to relax and actually be honest about what’s going on. I never felt rushed, and I always felt heard. What stood out most is how seriously she took my asthma. She didn’t just skim the surface. She asked thoughtful questions, paid attention to the details, and worked with me to find something that actually helped. And it did.
It’s rare to find someone who brings both clinical skill and real human connection into the room, but she does. I’m genuinely grateful to have found her, especially during a time of transition. I would recommend her to anyone, without hesitation.
