Dr. Sarah Wilson is a dual board-certified and dual fellowship-trained cosmetic dermatologist and Mohs surgeon. She is honored to be a part of the Newnan community and to offer surgical and cosmetic services for the patients at Newnan Dermatology. She has a passion for all things skin and is committed to helping you look and feel your absolute best. Dr. Wilson completed two accredited fellowships, one in micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology (“Mohs”), and the other in cosmetic dermatologic surgery, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. During her two years of training at Northwestern, Dr. Wilson trained under the President of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Murad Alam, and completed over 3,000 cases of Mohs surgery. She completed her dermatology residency in Atlanta at Emory University where she served as chief resident. Prior to residency, she attended the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta where she was elected member of the prestigious AOA honor society and graduated in the top 10 percent of her class. She completed her undergraduate degree at Georgia Tech where she graduated with Highest Honors. Dr. Wilson has authored multiple publications in the areas of cosmetic dermatology, skin cancer, and patient quality of life. Dr. Wilson is a Georgia native and has lived in Newnan with her family since 2021. She and her high school sweetheart, Austin, have three daughters. They enjoy spending their free time at the lake with friends and family, and exploring new parks, restaurants, and playgrounds.
