About Dr. Sarmen Sarkissian

Sarmen Sarkissian, M.D., is a board-certified Hematologist and Medical Oncologist. He completed his medical training at the University of California, San Diego, a residency at University of Southern California and a fellowship at University of California, Irvine. His interest in pharmacology and molecular biology led him to cancer care. Dr. Sarkissian has worked with several hospitals in the Southern California area including Ventura County Medical Center, Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, and St. Mary’s Medical Center, to name a few. He has participated in a number of research projects and has been a key contributor to several abstracts, posters, and presentations throughout his career. In his free time, he enjoys reading and spending time with his family.
