About Dr. Saul Rodriguez
Dr. Rodriguez has lived in North New Jersey for most of his life. During his four years of high school, he was a member of the track and field team. Graduating in the top 5% of his class earned him a generous scholarship to Seton Hall University, where he completed his bachelor's degree.
Throughout his undergraduate years, Dr. Rodriguez participated in a research program at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and devoted countless hours to his community, parish, and even abroad as part of the ?Somos Amigos Medical Missions.?
After graduating from Seton Hall, Cum Laude, he pursued his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Rodriguez was admitted to his first-choice residency program at University Hospital, renowned for its rigorous training in Trauma and Reconstruction. During his residency in Podiatry, Foot and Ankle Surgery, he assisted in hundreds of surgeries at Hackensack Hospital, Holy Name, St. Joseph's, Mountainside, Veterans Affairs, and University Hospital. As a senior resident, he was honored with the title of Academic Chief Resident, a role in which he educated residents across all years. Dr. Rodriguez has also published multiple papers in the Journal of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and believes all physicians should contribute to the ongoing work of their profession.
As a practicing physician, Dr. Rodriguez enjoys the challenges presented by new patients. During the first visit, he reviews the etiology of the problem and discusses the ?spectrum of treatments,? always incorporating the patient's input, as he firmly believes patients must be actively involved in their care. He routinely operates at Hackensack Hospital and Holy Name Hospital and takes Trauma Surgery call at University Hospital, where he embraces the challenges of trauma while teaching the next generation of Foot and Ankle surgeons. In his time off, he enjoys spending time with his fianc?e and traveling.

My experience with Dr Rodriguez or as I like to call him Dr. Saul only because A/ I’m twice his age and more importantly B/ He really makes you feel like a person who genuinely cares about both my foot issues and at the same time like I could be a relative of his, he cares that much as I’m sure he’s the same with all his other patients.
We’re not just another number vs a real person, Dr S. really makes you know he has your back and of course our feet!
I’ve seen him 3-4 times most recent on Monday 5/19 and once again I left feeling I wish all my doctors had that added touch, that being a friendly professional manner with of course his excellent skill set.
He’s terrific at what he does and really cares which is all anybody can ask for especially when we all have to deal with any part of our body that needs fixing, he really is the best accomplishing that!
I highly recommend Dr Rodriguez!
