What should a new client know about working with you?

I provide a structured, supportive, and patient-centered approach focused on effective medication management, while also integrating brief therapeutic techniques into our visits. My style is warm, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can openly share your concerns, while we work together to develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs. Visits are typically focused and efficient, with time dedicated to assessing symptoms, monitoring progress, and making thoughtful medication adjustments. In addition to medication management, I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), supportive therapy, and psychoeducation to help you build practical coping skills and better understand your condition. I have experience supporting adolescents and adults, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, and substance use challenges. I take a holistic approach, recognizing the connection between mental and physical health. During your first visit, we will complete a comprehensive evaluation and establish clear treatment goals. Follow-up visits focus on tracking progress, optimizing your treatment plan, and supporting your overall well-being. You can expect professionalism, open communication, and compassionate care, with a focus on helping you achieve meaningful and lasting improvement.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I begin with a comprehensive initial evaluation where we review your history, current concerns, symptoms, and treatment goals. This first visit helps me gain a full understanding of your needs and determine the most appropriate plan of care. From there, we develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management along with brief, evidence-based therapeutic support psychotherapy and psychoeducation. Follow-up visits are typically structured and focused. We review your progress, discuss any side effects or concerns, and make adjustments to your treatment as needed. I also provide practical tools and education to help you manage symptoms between visits. Throughout our work together, I emphasize collaboration, open communication, and respect for your individual values. My goal is to provide consistent support while helping you achieve stable, meaningful improvement over time.
