My name is Scott, a Colorado native who earned a Master's in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Anschutz. I have extensive experience in community mental health and private practice, specializing in trauma, ADHD, addiction, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.

I create a non-judgmental environment with the goal of clients feeling both safe and heard. I work to understand what is most important to my clients and work together with my clients to help them reach goals that we establish together to help them feel more like themselves.

Scott is patient, kind, understanding and a great choice if you feel like your psychiatrist has not understood or listened in the past. I was really anxious about seeing a new psychiatrist, and I feel so relieved and hopeful after my appointment. Us ladies know how hard it is to find a doctor who doesn't just write off our problems!! I couldn’t recommend Scott more. If you’re like me, you’ve seen a whole slew of providers. I’ve had my fair share of bad experiences where I felt like the person on the other side of me couldn’t have cared less about me or the issue I was presenting. That’s not the case with Scott. I found his process to be very relational and like he wanted to know more about me and why I was there. This is one of the good ones.

I couldn’t ask for a better provider. Scott is absolutely phenomenal in every way.
As a person with severe mental illnesses, I’ve been tossed around by more psychiatric professionals than I can count. But Scott put an end to that disheartening cycle for me. I have been his patient for a couple years now, and despite incredibly low moments of mine having occurred during our time together, Scott has never given up on me. To him, I am a person, then a patient. And I can’t stress enough how valuable & rare that quality is in mental health care.
Scott is more than just the person I go to for medication management- he is a partner in my healing journey, always listening to my concerns, and using his expertise and compassionate heart to guide me, while validating that I know my body and mind best. As I advocate for what I need, Scott’s professional insights help make the best treatment possible for me. I am endlessly grateful.
