About Dr. Scott Kenny
New Lenox chiropractor Dr. Scott J. Kenny is a co-owner, clinic director, and a treating physician at the IPM New Lenox office.
Dr. Scott received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology and a Chemistry minor from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa in 2001. He then obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic and second Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from the National University of Health Sciences located in Lombard, Illinois in 2004.
While attending Loras College, Dr. Scott was a member of an NCAA nationally ranked wrestling team. Since that time, and while practicing at a past clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada, he taught classes in Phlebotomy, Anatomy and Physiology, and Kinesiology.
Dr. Scott is the acting sports team physician for many local youth sports (football, wrestling, rugby). Dr. Scott has listed on the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP) Concussion Registry as a healthcare provider who has successfully completed the ACBSP Concussion Registry Course (Concussion Course) and is, therefore, qualified to evaluate, diagnose, and manage concussed individuals in any patient population. He is also a certified body fat assessor through the IHSA and therefore able to test and assist Illinois high school wrestlers in safe and healthy weight loss. He is also a local youth wrestling coach.
Dr. Scott has also achieved post-graduate certifications as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP), a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and as a Fellow, International Academy Medical Acupuncture (FIAMA). He has taken multiple courses in dry needling, kinesiology taping, and he has started three-year post-graduate Diplomate programs in Sports and Orthopaedics. He has also started training towards certification in the McKenzie Method of mechanical diagnosis and therapy (MDT).
His beautiful wife is named Vanessa and he has a daughter named Sienna and three sons, Knox, Mak and Lex.

The front desk was very welcoming and flexible with my scheduling needs. Dr. Scott is very attentive and helpful- he took the time to answer every question or concern I had when beginning treatment and made me feel like I was his number one concern. His team is also knowledgeable and kind- I feel confident coming to Dr. Scott for all my needs! I have recommended his services to my family and friends who share similar thoughts.

Dr. Scott is wonderful! He is very knowledgeable about your chiropractic needs, and he has a straight forward approach to improving your symptoms in an effective and efficient manner. He helped improve my back and sciatic pain fairly quickly, and now I can move around without any issues! I highly recommend booking your appointment with Dr. Scott for your chiropractic care.

The Staff at Integrated Physical Medicine are fantastic. Dr. Scott helped me to understand my injury, and the rehab that was needed to get better. Dr. Scott and team did a fantastic job getting me back on my feet quickly!

Dr. Scott and his team helped me get well when other doctors couldn't! Dr. Scott actually listened to me and took the time to understand my problem. IPM is where I go for all of my health and wellness needs! Highly recommend!!!

I have been treated by Dr. Scott for nearly two decades at this point. From a purely chiropractic standpoint he is the most skilled manual adjusters that I have ever experienced. So that is great all on its own. On top of that, his clinics are designed to cover much more than just adjustments. His physical therapy staff is incredible. By combining chiropractic and physical therapy IPM is able to truly fix and empower their patients to stay healthy. If you are looking for a group that really wants you to get healthy and stay healthy, Dr. Scott and his staff are the only way to go. In my expansive time with IPM, I have seen every type of patient from very simple to post surgical have great success. Thanks for every thing Dr. Scott! See you next month!
