Dr. Scott P. Kurecki brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his patients from the North Port, West Villages, Englewood, Venice, Sarasota, and Port Charlotte communities. Born in Illinois, he moved to Venice with his family at the age of 12 and graduated from Venice High. Dr. Kurecki attended the University of South Florida for pre-med undergraduate studies then completed four additional years of podiatry school to earn his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science in Chicago, IL (formerly William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine). After further surgical training in Dallas, he established the North Port Foot Clinic in 1989. Dr. Kurecki is Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery and in Primary Care in Podiatric Medicine by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and Florida Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Kurecki has also received specialized training in wound care management of the lower extremities. Dr. Kurecki lives in Nokomis with his wife Tracy they enjoy many outdoor activities, including kayaking, golfing, traveling, and hunting shark teeth. He has 3 beautiful, intelligent, adult daughters.
