What should a new client know about working with you?

I grew up in the Philippines, immigrated to California during my youth, and have lived in Utah and Idaho throughout my adulthood. From a young age I knew I wanted to work in healthcare and became highly interested in psychiatric work. I have been working in the healthcare industry since 2013 while simultaneously caring for patients and furthering my education. In December 2021, I received my Master's of Science degree in Nursing with an emphasis in Psychiatric Mental Health from the University of South Alabama.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I begin by gathering a thorough understanding of your history, current challenges, and personal goals. Together, we develop a customized plan that may include therapy, medication management, lifestyle strategies, or other supportive interventions tailored to your needs. I regularly check in to track progress, make adjustments as needed, and ensure your care continues to align with your goals. My approach is collaborative, aiming to create a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout your mental health journey.

After scheduling your appointment, you will receive an email from Stella Mental Health (formerly Numinus) containing your intake paperwork. Please allow about 30 minutes to complete this form. Your responses will help your provider prepare for your upcoming appointment. All patients are required to complete the intake form 24 business hours before their appointment. You will receive a phone call from one of our dedicated Care Advocates, who can answer any questions you may have. Please be prepared to provide a credit card to keep on file for co-pays or cancellation fees. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full intake appointment fee ($292). During your intake appointment, you’ll spend 60 minutes with your provider collaborating on a treatment plan tailored to your needs. If in-person treatments are recommended—such as TMS, Spravato, DSR SGB, or ketamine therapy—our care team will guide you through the process and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
