About Dr. Scott Rubin

Dr. Rubin has been a practicing Chiropractor and Pilates instructor in St. Petersburg, FL since 1995. After graduating from the University of Florida with degrees in Business and Broadcast Journalism in 1986, he moved to Atlanta, GA. While working for a video production house, he edited a chiropractic school commercial and learned about the amazing benefits of chiropractic medicine. He then made the decision to attend chiropractic school. Dr. Rubin graduated Cum Laude from Life University in 1994 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Following graduation, he moved to St. Petersburg, FL, where he opened his own practice. Dr. Rubin continued his education by earning certifications in Acupuncture, Applied Kinesiology, Graston Technique, Active Release Technique (ART) full body certified, and became part of the elite provider network certified through the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). He is also a certified power Pilates instructor (600 hours) and completed 200 hours of yoga teacher training. Additionally, he completed a residency at the University of Miami. His most recent certification is as a Diplomate in Sports Medicine (DACBSP), and he is certified in Functional Movement Screening (FMS). Dr. Rubin currently serves as a treating physician for the United States Olympic Training Centers and has completed rotations at the Chula Vista Olympic Training Center and Lake Placid, NY. His greatest accomplishments are his two daughters, Raquel and Jessie, both college students—Jessie attends the Savannah College of Art and Design. He also has a dog named Lola and supports the Southeastern Guide Dogs organization.
