About Dr. Scott Surasky
Dr. Scott Surasky received his bachelor’s degree from the New York Institute of Technology. He attended the New York Chiropractic College and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from this institution. He served his internship at the New York Chiropractic College Outpatient Facility in Levittown, N.Y., where he was awarded Clinician of the Year.
Dr. Scott Surasky’s primary focus is the diagnosis and management of neck pain, back pain and headache. He is a board certified chiropractic neurologist and has a special interest in electrodiagnostic testing (nerve testing). He is a frequent lecturer on the subject of diagnosis and treatment of spine disease.
He holds an academic appointment in Clinical Sciences at the New York Chiropractic College, Center for Post Graduate and Continuing Education. He maintains hospital staff privileges in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at North Shore University Hospital of Glen Cove. A major portion of his practice is devoted to consulting on difficult and unusual cases for other physicians, surgeons and chiropractors.

I came in the office with a pain level of 9 out of 10. I was evaluated by the Dr. He was pretty thorough except for where I had the pain in my neck. I was told that he needed to get an MRI report and possibly x-rays. I asked about getting any kind of adjustment and was told " I don't operate that way and if U wanted radical adjustments U came to the wrong office" Again I had a pain level of 9 and the Dr. offered no help or remedy. This may be his way but for me a chiro Dr. adjusts peoples spines and certainly shouldn't let a patient come and go w/o trying to relieve the pain in some way. As a person who has seen a few Chiro's over the yearsI never had a Dr not at least try to alleviate the pt. pain. Un acceptable to me. John B

Absolutely terrible. Made me remove all my clothes and walk through his entire office in front of other patients. I jumped through hoops with X-rays and tons and tons of paperwork etc he refused to adjust me. What is the point of going to a Chiro if they aren’t going to adjust you !?!?

Scott is a great Chiropractor. The nurses that worked on me were great. Receptionist/scheduler is not friendly but everything else is perfect.

I would not recommend Dr. Surasky. His office was consistently running behind schedule and I had to wait upwards of an hour past my scheduled appointment time on a regular basis. Dr. Surasky also would spend a total of 5 minutes at most in the room with me, doing a simple adjustment and then leaving. I was a patient of his for a few months and during that time I was fortunate enough to find a different chiropractor who was more comprehensible and thorough. If you are looking for someone who will only give you a quick adjustment, some stim and heat, and charge you far too much this is the place for you. I strongly recommend you find a different chiropractor who will care about your progress rather than your money.

On my first visit yesterday, I was put on a very comprehensive set of comfortable tests to make sure that there wasn't any underlying ailments causing my spinal complaint; which impressed me as I have not experienced any chiropractor doing this prior to spinal adjustments before.
Dr Surasky was very knowledgeable and caring and I highly recommend him for anyone needing chiropractic work done.

Been coming to Dr Surasky for a while now Probably 3 yrs I never use to believed in chiropractors until I started coming here the doctor along with the staff are amazing and very friendly and my back hasn't felt this good in a very long time Definitely the best chiropractor on Long Island if not NY
