About Sean Thompson
Sean Thompson, FNP-BC is a nationally certified Nurse Practitioner with the American Nurses Association. He is also a member of the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners.
Sean earned his Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior with high honors at the University of California at Davis. He also completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing at Columbia University. He underwent further training in dermatology at Bronx Lebanon Hospital while attending academic sessions in the Division of Dermatology at Albert Einstein Medical School.
In addition to treating dermatological issues, he specializes in patient education in order to improve patient outcomes for common chronic skin disorders such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, acne and rosacea. Sean also speaks Spanish and has extensive experience with diagnosing and treating skin diseases in skin of color.

Will not go back. Provider was very rough while examining a painful rash and I was in a ton of pain from how quickly and roughly he dug around on my skin, seemingly making no effort to be gentle despite my obvious pain. Made a fairly serious diagnosis and walked out without giving any information or education at all. I was pretty stunned by how he rushed through with such bad bedside manner. Will definitely not be back to see him.
