He has spoken on the risks for lung cancer in this community and has established a clinical practice in the heart of Brooklyn’s Chinatown. Continuing his interest in quality, he has been named Chair of Quality Improvement and Assurance for the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at New York Presbyterian-Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Dr. Harrison also has an active interest in medical education. He has previously served as Associate Clerkship Director for the medical student surgery clerkship and has been a member of the admissions committee for a university medical school. He is currently serving as Program Director for the Weill Cornell Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery Residency Training Program.
