Needed to book quickly for vaginal pain. Only option to book under was for pelvic pain. She insisted it was an ectopic pregnancy even after I explained to her the pain was vaginal and I have been sexually inactive for the last year. Completely ignored all my other symptoms and complaints. When she realized I wasn’t pregnant (shocker) She did an external exam and I told her what to look for that was causing me pain. She supposedly didn’t see it and said it was vaginal dryness (which isn’t painful unless you’re trying to insert something. I’m also young and have never had this issue) She slathered lubricant on me and said I should feel instant relief. I told her the pain is still there. She then told me I should go home and have intercourse and gave me a referral. Waste of a copay. I had to FIGHT to get a word in edgewise as she worked through her differential diagnosis out loud. She did not let me speak or explain. She did not listen to any of my other symptoms or complaints.
