About Semmy Yun
Semmy Yun is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. She earned an undergraduate degree at Binghamton University and went on to complete her degree as a Physician Assistant at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, graduating as Valedictorian in her PA class. She completed her dermatology training at The Dermatology Specialists, as well as the Diplomate Fellowship Program with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Semmy has a particular interest in medical dermatology that includes acne, atopic dermatitis, and psoriasis. She is an attentive and compassionate provider who finds meaning and happiness in helping patients get better.

I waited nearly an hour for my appointment, and unfortunately the visit itself felt rushed. While the doctor did answer my questions, it seemed like she was trying to move quickly due to a high number of patients. I didn’t feel like I had enough time to fully discuss my concerns.

I truly love seeing Semmy. Even though she is out of network for my insurance, I have always chosen to come to her because I trust her and really value her care. But this time, the experience with their AI phone system was extremely frustrating, and the front desk was unprofessional and impatient. As much as I love Semmy, this whole experience makes me feel like I can’t come back anymore, which is honestly really disappointing.

This was my first to this dermatologist's office and I was very pleased with the courteous and efficient staff; the PA who saw me, Semmy Yun, was great. Obtaining an appointment that worked for me was also a big plus in choosing this location.
She clearly explained the procedure that I came for and was very professional.
The office space was inviting and was architectural interesting.
All in all, a really good first visit!

She was great! The office staff was super friendly, it was easy to check in, I only waited about 10-15 min and was seen right away. The appointment went smoothly, she was a great listener, was very clear and helpful. Would 100% come back!

I really liked this provider but the follow up’s from staff ruined the experience. There was an issue w a prescription and it was a 20 min wait on the phone to speak to someone and they didn’t call back to resolve it until the next day.
Furthermore they didn’t actually call to follow up w the prescription issue… they called to book a follow up appointment which I already booked before leaving the provider when I was seen. They said they didn’t have record of it and told me the time I booked for was taken. And acted like this was my problem that “they must’ve not put it in the system so we can book you for a different time.”
It stinks because the actual provider was good!

Dr. Yun was great. Incredibly informative, took the time to listen to and answer all my questions, and was very knowledgeable. I didn't feel at all rushed. The office was very nice and clean, staff were friendly, and everything went smoothly. I did wait about 30 mins despite booking ahead, but not too bad. Overall, great experience and I'm comfortable going to Dr. Yun from now on for my derma needs.
