About Dr. Sera Ellerson
Sera Ellerson is a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, where she graduated with honors. She furthered her education at Boston College, earning both a Master of Science in Nursing and a Doctorate in Women's Health Nursing, graduating with honors from the Alpha Chi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International.
Professionally, Sera worked as a registered nurse at an OB/GYN community health center, providing compassionate care to patients in underserved communities. Prior to this, she worked as a nurse at another community health center that offered comprehensive medical and social services to elderly patients living in the community.
Passionate about providing holistic care, Sera is dedicated to supporting individuals through adolescence, reproductive years, and menopause. Her approach integrates both medical and emotional well-being, enhancing overall health outcomes.

What a great experience. From the moment I walked into the office I felt welcomed and at ease. I have a condition that can make exams very uncomfortable and Sera immediately offered me many options to make the exam painless and as comfortable as possible. She was warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. What stood out most was the time she took to truly listen to my concerns. Never once felt rushed or dismissed. I’ve had bad experiences with previous gynos but I’m very happy with the level of attention and care at this practice, from the front desk, nurses and Sera herself. Really happy I found a place in the city I want to come back to!
