Board-certified Nurse Practitioner Serena Weidner has been practicing nursing for a decade and has focused on dermatology for more than five years. She has significant experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Her expertise includes conducting skin cancer screenings, administering neurotoxin/BOTOX® injections, prescribing medications for chronic conditions such as psoriasis and eczema, and more.

I'm baffled by the positive reviews. She examined my skin for maybe all of three seconds before prescribing a treatment plan. During the follow-up, in which I told her that my skin was not improving (after weeks and weeks of the prescribed regimen) and that perhaps we could explore alternatives, she was curt and dismissive and told me to continue with the same regimen in a manner that suggested that taking a patient's feedback was anathema to her.
Both times, she demonstrated an absolutely horrible bedside manner in which she could hardly conceal her annoyance at my follow-up questions, before she darted out of the room. I've been to my fair share of medical appointments and have never had a provider make me feel like such a burden to their day. I've never written a review for anything or anyone in my life, medical-related or otherwise, but felt compelled to write this review due to how awful my experience was. A waste of time and money - as if being condescended to wasn't enough.

My consultation went very well, and my diagnosis was clearly explained, as well as the treatment. Both the nurse and specialist were very friendly and professional.
However, when coming into the waiting area upon arrival, my experience was not as great. The front desk associate looked at me after helping another incoming patient but then continued with other work without offering assistance or even a acknowledging I was there. I stepped aside so she could finish and was still not acknowledged (even after an outgoing patient was checked out). After making eye contact with the staff member again, I was still not offered help, and I finally looked to the other side of the dividing wall to see that another office assistant was available. If unwilling to help, I could have at least been directed to the other window to check in when I first walked in. I felt as if it was a burden to assist me. Not a good first impression.

It was easy to get the appointment on line and submit my insurance information. I arrived on time and was cleared at the front desk. I was called back within a few minutes on time.
The examination of my problem was assessed and treatment began very quickly. I was advised on my responsibilities after treatment and scheduled for a follow up in three months.
I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff.

I felt like Dr. Weidner wanted to be in and out as quickly as possible. She didn't ask any questions about my skincare routine, my habits, etc. Just looked at my face and prescribed a topical cream and to not put anything on my face for 4 weeks before she sees me again. I felt like she thought she knew what it was before even talking to me.
Also, she didn't look at a mole that I had said I wanted it looked at, both before my appointment and to the nurse I spoke to before hand.
I will not be going back to her.

The staff is so friendly and welcoming and I am very happy with my Dr. She was so understanding and kind I felt like a ton of weight was lifted off my shoulders after talking to her about a plan to get my skin better- what a great place this is I am so blessed to have found it.

Perfectly fine skin screening but the interactions with the staff were all very awkward. Of the five people I interacted with not a single one introduced themself and the doctor rushed out the door so fast they didn’t even close it behind them leaving me (in my paper gown) facing a half open door. Walked out and wasn’t sure if I needed to do anything to checkout but nobody seemed to be around at the counter so I just left. Was glad be able to book this place on relatively short notice but definitely won’t be returning.

The doctor did explain what I should be concerned about in the future. She did not explain what the biopsy of my mole would entail apart from when to expect my results and seems irritated when I asked questions. No one came in to tell me when I could leave the examination room, and the nurse who booked my follow up was not very polite. Overall, the doctor and nurses completed my appointment efficiently, but not have good bedside manors.
