Getting to know Sergey Istomin
Bilingual (English, Russian) Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s in Nursing from the University of South Alabama. My telehealth practice is open to new clients (18+) residing in Maryland. I have experience in inpatient and outpatient treatment of adults, utilizing safe, non-addictive psychotropic medications combined with individually tailored psychotherapeutic supportive approaches for clients experiencing psychological challenges.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Will diagnose and create an individually tailored to client’s specific needs treatment plan and initiate treatment client agreed with.
If you are not sure of what type of treatment you need, please , still feel free to schedule an initial visit. I will guide you in the right treatment direction.
My 20+ of experience at different mental health settings allows me to treat most of my clients with insomnia, anxiety, alcohol/chemical dependency and mild ADHD safely, without subjecting them to the risk of dependency from such substances.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
