About Dr. Shahin Bagheri
Dr. Bagheri is a board-certified rheumatologist by American Board of Internal Medicine with special interest in inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, lupus, ankylosing spondylitis, gout, inflammatory bowel diseases and non-inflammatory conditions such as osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, musculoskeletal pain and other joint issues. He is an avid believer in evidence-based medicine and believes each patient needs an individual approach.
Dr Bagheri has more than 20 years experience in field of rheumatology and is an active member of the American College of Rheumatology. He has been principal investigator or sub-investigator in more than 35 rheumatologic clinical studies, results of which have been published in peer reviewed scientific papers in rheumatology.
Dr. Bagheri completed his internship and Internal Medicine residency at MCP-Hahnemann and rheumatology fellowship at University of Iowa, Carver College of Medicine. Dr. Bagheri is fluent In English and Persian. Dr. Bagheri is skilled at performing diagnostic ultrasound and image-guided joint injections.

I have had a rare type of disease that wasn't diagnosed by any of the numerous doctors I went to for a number of agonizing years. All the usual blood tests came out to be normal.
Dr. Bagheri was the only one who wrote the required rare blood tests that helped in its diagnosis and the subsequent treatment.
He has also been responsive to my queries directed to his office and has gone above and beyond in the course of my treatment.
I'm grateful beyond words.

I was very appreciative to the fact that me and my mother had miscommunicated about the appointment time. She thought it was for 2:45 when it was for 1:00pm. And since the office is a 2 hour drive during traffic time there was no way I could have gotten there sooner. And Dr. B still saw me.
