Once you have requested an appointment, I will personally reach out to you to ensure we are a good fit and that I am suited to address your needs. What is your typical process for working with clients?
As my client, you have direct access to me. Say goodbye to staying on hold for what seems like an eternity to make an appointment. The days of leaving messages and communicating with your doctor through a medical assistant are over.

I recently had my first online visit with Dr. Mashkoor for medication management. I scheduled an appointment via Zocdoc and she contacted me right away and sent me the paperwork to complete. In addition to reviewing my mental health history and currently medication, she reviewed my recent lab results ordered by my primary doctor. Dr. Mashkoor made some recommendations for two supplements to help with my mood and energy, and she explained her reasoning. Although my levels are in the acceptable range, they are on the low end - I had never paid attention before to levels that were in the acceptable range but that could use a boost. After conducting my own research and understanding the advantages, I ordered the supplements. I like that Dr. Mashkoor looks at the body holistically - she is the first mental health practitioner that I have seen that does this. I highly recommend Dr. Mashkoor, especially if you're interested in improving your physical health too.

What a breath of fresh air! This appointment was above and beyond my expectations. Possibly one of the most convenient doctor's appointment I have had. Service was great too. I was treated like a person. Great communication. Good eye contact. She did not have her head buried in her computer. Listened to what I had to say. I hope the medication works well. The doctor called me back herself within hours of making my appointment on ZocDoc. It was HER AND NOT SOME OFFICE STAFF! She already had verified my insurance and told me what my out of pocket expense would be and asked if I were Ok with that. I appreciate this so much, since my income is limited now.

Dr. Mashkoor is efficient and quick to respond to messages... usually same day. It's nice to hear from the her directly with the RIGHT answer and not office staff who does not know me. I would not see anyone else.

My 16 year old son is much better after seeing Dr. Mashkoor. He is now willing to drive and is planning to go to college. We are all so pleasantly surprised by the results and eternally grateful.

I never had to talk to anyone but Dr. Mashkoor during my whole experience with her clinic! No annoying receptionists or office nurses causing unnecessary headaches. It was lovely to be able to speak with the doctor herself from start to finish. How refreshing!

So for anyone who has had to see a shrink for the first time, you know it's hard to even make an appointment let alone show your face at a mental office. Let's just say the impact on me and my quality of life was so much so that I told all my friends about it and encouraged them to see Dr. Mashkoor for their issues. I would drink heavily in social situations to the point of blacking out. My anxiety is well under control now. There is no need for any of that. Thank you

It's so hard to find a good psychiatrist in Vegas. I am originally from back East and let me tell you mental healthcare is not very good here. I am glad I found Shanaz. She is good at what she does but more importantly cares. As for me, I am back on track with my meds and labs. It was a tough go finding someone here but it's all good again.

Dr. Mashkoor was very thorough in her evaluation. She ordered functional labs to see if I had nutrient deficiencies that might have led to my attention deficit and fatigue. She offers medication alongside other holistic treatment options that can make a big overall difference. I am glad I saw Dr. Mashkoor. I wish I saw her sooner.

Dr. Mashkoor explained my treatment options in detail including those she did not provider in her clinic. She discussed the pros and cons of various treatment options. I found her to be empathetic, patient, and kind. My session with her was quite educational which helped me be more compliant. Most important of all, she gave me hope.
