I am the Director of Psychological Assessment at Madison Park Psychological Services and have extensive experience evaluating children, adolescents, and adults across multiple settings, including hospitals, schools, and outpatient clinics. I have worked with many individuals presenting with a wide range of complex issues, and my evaluations aim to uncover what may be interfering with your ability to function at your highest potential-whether at school, work, or in your relationships. I hold a PhD in Clinical Psychology from New School and a Bachelor's degree from Dalhousie University. Through the assessment process, I strive to help every individual understand their strengths and sources of challenges by thoroughly evaluating all aspects of their working mind. By gaining this deeper understanding, I collaborate closely with each patient to develop a treatment plan tailored to their specific needs while enabling them to see parts of themselves they may not have been consciously aware of. My approach to psychological testing incorporates elements of the therapeutic process to facilitate positive change and alleviate any anxiety that may arise from the assessment itself. In addition to psychological evaluations, I provide individual psychotherapy to adults experiencing a variety of complex issues. I approach each unique individual with compassion and empathy, aiming to alleviate suffering and construct meaning. In treatment, I draw from various therapeutic approaches, emphasizing psychodynamic and relational psychotherapies to foster curiosity about one's internal world and underlying motivations. I believe my genuine approach to treatment fosters a trusting and meaningful relationship, where clients feel a greater sense of safety and agency.
