Dr. Shane Austin, MD is a Florida-licensed Family Medicine practitioner who is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). After completing his residency at the prestigious University of Kansas Medical Center, he relocated to South Florida to advance his medical career. He has since practiced as a Hospitalist physician taking care of inpatients at local hospitals throughout South Florida. He is now venturing into a more traditional internal medicine role, providing care for his patients in the office as well as in the hospital.

I was greated by friendly staff who explained that an attempt to reach me was made to an old number via ZocDoc. Despite being several minutes late and not having my physical insurance card worked with me and accepted a copy I had on my phone. Almost immeadiately after completing my check-in I was seen by the Doctor. The Doctor was friendly and spent significant time to learn about the patient's issue and provide a treatment plan. My family definitely intends to schedule future visits and hope we have found our new Family Physician.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Austin. My son was there and he is two but the doc wasn’t fazed by his curiosity and was friendly with him. He did not rush, answered all of my questions and was knowledgeable. I couldn’t have asked for more! Oh and the front desk staff was patient and friendly!
