What should a new client know about working with you?

Our patients at Pediatric and Family Behavioral Health receive an intake package that collects demographic information, insurance information for us to provide a good faith estimate, and scales to make their one hour intake visit more meaningful. What does that mean? That instead of filling paperwork with your provider you get a full hour of their time to evaluate and make a plan of care and build a therapeutic relationship with the provider. Trust is important for us and our providers will meet your needs and recommend care as the evidence based practice that we are. The follow up appointments will be 30 minutes so that our providers can also provide supportive therapy along medication management. Check our reviews, our patients love the attention they get.

When you receive medical services, it's important to understand that you are responsible for certain costs, which are determined by your health insurance plan. These costs include your copay, co-insurance, or deductible. A copay is a fixed amount you pay for a healthcare service, usually when you receive the service. Co-insurance is your share of the costs of a healthcare service, usually a percentage of the total charge. Your deductible is the amount you must pay for healthcare services before your health insurance begins to pay. If you haven't met your deductible for the year, you might be responsible for paying up to $300 for medical services, though often the cost may be less. This amount varies depending on the specifics of your health insurance policy and if it is an intake visit or a follow up.
