About Shanna Stone
Shanna Stone, APRN is a certified family nurse practitioner who specializes in cosmetic and medical dermatology. She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Florida Atlantic University, where she also completed the family nurse practitioner program. Both of her degrees were awarded with magna cum laude honors.
Shanna has worked for Water’s Edge Dermatology since 2001. Dr. Schiff (Water’s Edge Dermatology’s founder and Chief Medical Officer) encouraged Shanna to become a nurse practitioner. Shanna always felt tremendous respect and admiration for Dr. Schiff and the highly skilled advanced providers at Water’s Edge Dermatology. So, she believed this was a great opportunity. In her experience at Water’s Edge Dermatology, it was a daily occurrence for the providers to share their expertise and include her in learning experiences. This made her want to share in their common focus of providing high quality, personalized care to patients.
