What is your typical process for working with clients?

My treatment approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs. I believe that effective mental health care begins with truly listening and understanding a person’s experiences, challenges, and goals. Together, we develop a treatment plan that supports emotional well-being while also considering physical health, lifestyle, and personal values. I provide thoughtful, evidence-based medication management and take time to educate patients about their options so they can make informed decisions about their care. My background in geriatrics and complex medical care allows me to safely and carefully manage psychiatric medications for individuals with multiple health conditions. I work with young adults, adults, and older adults experiencing depression, anxiety, insomnia, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, and behavioral symptoms related to dementia. I also support patients navigating major life transitions, chronic illness, caregiver stress, and age-related changes. Above all, I strive to create a supportive, respectful environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their mental health journey.
