This visit was painless, fast, and they made me feel very comfortable and I like that they have many open dates and times for appointments. They were very knowledgeable about everything and they're all so sweet. I loved the comfort of the environment and the cleanliness as well!

More about Shannon Clark, FNP
Shannon was born and raised in Northern California and is a forth generation San Francisco Bay Area resident. Shannon graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from St. Mary’s College in 1998 and began working as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department at Marin General Hospital. In 2001, she earned her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Samuel Merritt University and for the next 12 years provided care in the departments of Emergency, Urgent Care and Orthopedic Surgery at Kaiser Permanente in the East Bay.
In 2012, she accepted the position of Director for Redwood Medical Center and Urgent Care. Over the next 2 years, Shannon expanded the centers services to become a comprehensive multi-specialty medical center. In 2014, she re-opened the center as owner and CEO of the new Synergy Health Center & Urgent Care.
In addition, Shannon is a full time student working on a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Johns Hopkins University. Her doctoral project focus is on Early Diabetes Detection in the Asymptomatic Urgent Care Patient. Shannon will be implementing her research project at the medical center and will publish and speak on her doctoral work.

I had a horrible experience with an HMO which took 13 years to diagnose an injury which became progressively worse. Once diagnosed, my old doctors (I saw 14 of them) said "we don't know what to do about it". I came to Dr. Clark's office as soon as I ditched my HMO, because of her high reviews and had a very thorough checkup with no cut corners. As a general practitioner, my medical issues were beyond her ability as a doctor, but she did take her time to give me advice and referrals to specialists who will be able to help me. I appreciated her honesty over ego, and that she took her time to ensure that I get the right treatment if she was unable to do that herself. On a side note, I had an 11:15 appointment but had to wait about 2 hours before seeing the doctor. 2 hours was better than 13 years, but a bit lengthy for an office visit.
