“I don’t think my comments should be published, but want the office to know. The provider is skilled, but there’s not enough time for questions or for reviewing treatment plan. The most important part of my visit, lab findings, wasn’t mentioned until end of visit. The patient portal hasn’t worked, so I had to ask for print copy of lab results. No access to visit summary, no way to send message through portal. I was referred to a specialist, but don’t know who or where and no one has contacted me. ”

About Shannyn Werra
Originally from Milwaukee, WI, Shannyn moved to Phoenix in 2018 to escape the cold and now calls the desert home with her husband, three children, and their three dogs.
She brings over 10 years of OB experience and a deep passion for patient-centered care. Shannyn believes in truly listening to her patients, making sure they feel seen, heard, and empowered in every step of their health journey.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Alverno College and went on to receive her Midwifery degree from Frontier Nursing University.
Her mission? To educate and support women so they feel confident and informed when making decisions about their care.
Outside of work, you’ll find her exploring new recipes, off-the-grid camping, racing around in her razor, or floating down the Salt River.

I wish I could write this review later as I still have to go back to the office for treatment. Provider acted like I was being ridiculous for even asking about pain management for IUD placement. Only after enough push back from me did she even offer to write a prescription for me to get my own topical. Also got bare minimum information about next visit, was so flustered about the topical I dint get the chance to ask my other questions. Not sure that my pre-authorization has been submitted yet, not showing up in my insurance app 5 days after process started in office.
