I bring over two decades of experience as a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, with a focused emphasis on mental healthcare over the past 10 years. I believe in building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and respect, and working collaboratively toward meaningful, lasting outcomes. I provide medication management tailored to individual needs, including careful, appropriate prescribing of controlled substances when clinically indicated and thoughtful deprescribing when appropriate. (Currently prescribing controlled substances for patients in Florida ONLY at this time).
I also offer guidance and referrals for individuals experiencing substance use concerns, including opioid use disorder, to ensure access to appropriate treatment and support.
I am especially passionate about helping those with obesity related to binge eating disorder. Treatment options for obesity related to binge eating disorder include approved stimulant medications and GLP-1 receptor agonist injections or oral medication for obesity related to binge eating that are available through Eli Lilly's LillyDirect Pharmacy with a valid prescription, with both insurance coverage (major insurance plans accepted) and self-pay options available depending on your coverage.
While I am unable to provide standalone psychotherapy through Grow Therapy, I incorporate supportive therapy into medication management visits and can assist with referrals to qualified psychotherapists for ongoing counseling.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
