What should a new client know about working with you?

If you’re looking for a provider who is transparent, experienced, and fully invested in your progress — you’ve come to the right place. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with extensive experience working with adolescents, college students, and young adults, I combine evidence-based practices with real-world understanding to help you create lasting change. My clients often come to me after feeling misunderstood wondering why they struggle with focus, motivation, or follow-through despite their best efforts. I understand those challenges deeply, and my approach is built on patience, compassion, and collaboration. Together, we uncover why certain patterns exist and develop practical, individualized strategies that lead to real, measurable progress. If you’re a parent seeking support for your teen, know that you’ll never be left out of the process. I believe family involvement is essential, and I make sure parents are informed, supported, and actively included in care — not left sitting in the waiting room guessing what comes next. With me, you’ll have a partner who listens, explains, and walks beside you each step of the way — guiding you toward clarity, confidence, and lasting success.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I understand that when you’re seeking answers, you don’t want to wait weeks for clarity. That’s why my process is designed to be both efficient and thorough, helping you get the insight and documentation you need — quickly and confidently. Most new clients are able to schedule their initial appointment within 3–7 days. During that first visit, I conduct a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation where I will gather a detailed history to understand your symptoms, challenges, and goals. In most cases, diagnostic testing and assessments are completed the same day, allowing me to move promptly toward identifying key concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, or mood-related patterns. Within 7 days of your initial visit, you’ll receive an in-depth written report that includes diagnostic impressions, recommendations, and — when appropriate — documentation to support academic or workplace accommodations. My goal is to make this process as seamless and supportive as possible, so you can move forward with clarity, confidence, and a personalized plan for success.
