What should a new client know about working with you?
I provide cognitive behavioral therapy to help you identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and to learn practical self-help strategies.
I provide solution focused therapy which is future-focused, goal-directed, and focuses on solutions, rather than on the problems .
yHypnotherapy is a technique that utilizes hypnosis to aid in the treatment of specific symptoms or health conditions. Hypnotherapy works by inducing a hypnotic state marked by waking awareness that allows people to experience detached external attention and to focus on inner experiences.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
The initial evaluation typically takes about 45 minutes to an hour. During this time, I gather relevant history, background information, symptoms and previous treatments and their effectiveness. We develop and plan of care and initiate follow up appointments to continue care.
