Getting to know Shashank Jha
I provide medication management and brief therapy for individuals between the ages of 6 and 65, offering treatment with respect and sensitivity to all backgrounds, cultures, religions, and genders. Each person’s story is distinct, and I believe their care should reflect that individuality. As we work together, I will serve as a partner in your journey, emphasizing open and honest communication. I diagnose and prescribe medications and brief therapy for: ADHD/ADD, autism, childhood trauma, anxiety, panic, depression, loss/grief, OCD, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, substance use disorders, anger, and many other often undiagnosed mental health conditions.
What should a new client know about working with you?
***I treat patients between the ages of 6 and 65 years old.***
***New patients looking for controlled substance prescriptions must provide supporting medical records or be willing to have one visit with a PCP/urgent care doctor to fulfill the criteria of Georgia Composite Medical Board***

Dr. Shashank Jha is great, my appointment went amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable, Extremely friendly, and made me feel so comfortable. I was able to actually be honest and be myself. He didn’t judge on anything and was very considerate. Also, very professional and you can tell he’s looking out for your best interest. I’ve been searching for a new psychiatrist because the one I’ve had for over seven years unfortunately got cancer and is no longer practicing. For me, it’s very difficult with my anxiety to open up and to trust/be honest and explain everything i’ve been through. Shashank Jha is just so comforting and honest. And he’s just extremely professional. He takes his job very serious And really takes the time to get to know you and your specific situation.
