Shashank Jha, PMHNP

Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
GA
I am a survivor of polio and, as a child, faced the challenges of bullyingâexperiences that shaped both my resilience and my lifelong commitment to mental health care. My journey in Neuropsychiatry began in 1994 in India, and over the past three decades, I have served as both a physician and a nurse practitioner. In this time, I have witnessed the profound effects of untreated ADHDADD, autism, childhood trauma, anxiety, panic, depression, lossgrief, OCD, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, substance use disorders, anger, and many other often undiagnosed mental health conditionsânot only on individuals, but also across families and generations. After earning certification from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates in the United States, I transitioned to serving the community in Georgia as a nurse practitioner in 2012, following my training at Kennesaw State University and the University of Cincinnati. I am honored to be a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
