Dr. Shaun Cooper is a board-certified dermatologist and proud native Texan who has returned to North Texas to practice in Bedford, Texas, at Essential Dermatology Group. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Dartmouth College and completed his residency in dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine. Throughout his career, Dr. Cooper has shown a deep commitment to delivering personalized, high-quality care to his patients. Dr. Cooper and his staff were great. The only issue I have is with the ridiculous amount of paperwork that is required once you arrive at the office. It should be available to fill out online prior to your visit.

Coming from Colorado to Texas I didn’t know what to expect back home. I waited at least 3 to 4 months before even getting seen and even then the wait time was almost an hour and far too complicated this time. The wait time was less than 10 minutes if that and he was really great listening to examines really thoroughly and even offered some new medications.

The doctor was personable , explained everything very well and took care of my problem in less than 30 minutes. The doctor's assistant was a very pleasant young man. They sent my prescription over to the pharmacy right away which I always feel is a sign that they consider my time to be important as well as theirs. I was a little bit nervous but I felt so relieved when everything was finished because I had been concerned about the issue I was having. I felt very comfortable and assured that he had taken care of everything and knew exactly what to expect for the next couple of weeks and how to care for the small area he had taken care of. I would highly recommend Dr. Cooper! I set an appointment for a less pressing matter because I was so happy with the results of today's visit.
