Dr. Dr. Shawn Shih, MD FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist and expert on various conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails, such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, melasma, hair loss, and skin cancer. Dr. Shih stands on the forefront of dermatologic advances and offers the most up-to-date treatments to patients of all ages. He excels in combination treatments to improve acne scars, hyperpigmentation, and other cosmetic concerns in patients of all skin types. Utilizing a variety of tools and techniques in his toolbox, including neuromodulator (wrinkle relaxers), dermal filler, chemical peel, subcision, and various lasers and energy-based devices, he strives to deliver natural results tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Known for his personalized and gentle approach, Dr. Shih is committed to creating a meaningful and lasting impact on his patients’ lives, empowering them to look and feel their best from the inside out.
Dr. Shih received his bachelor’s degree from University of California, Berkeley, majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology. He completed his medical degree at University of Central Florida, College of Medicine, followed by an internship at his home program in Orlando, Florida. He completed the prestigious dermatology residency program at Boston University, where he trained with world renowned experts in skin cancer, hair loss, and skin of color. Dr. Shih was the recipient of the prestigious Skin of Color Society Research Award.
