About Dr. Shayda Mankooei
Dr. Shayda Mankooei graduated from Life University in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2000 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Prior to starting her chiropractic education, she studied as an undergraduate at the University of Maryland and Howard Community College. Dr. Mankooei began her professional experience in 2001 and has been practicing as a Doctor of Chiropractic in Northern Virginia (Springfield and Falls Church) for the past 21 years. She has treated and helped thousands of patients of all ages, including children. Her language skills—including English, Farsi, and Spanish—enhance her ability to listen, understand her patients’ pain, and support their health and well-being.
After more than two decades in the chiropractic profession, Dr. Shayda remains committed to healing and treating people to maintain a healthy spine and nervous system. She applies non-invasive modern techniques, dry-needling therapy, and focuses on educating her patients about the impact chiropractic care has in preventing disorders of the neuro-musculoskeletal system and its potential effects on overall health and quality of life.
