Hey there, I'm Shay. I'm a psychiatric nurse practitioner, a wife, a mom, but most importantly, your biggest supporter in achieving your goals for overall improved mental health and well-being. I am a highly rated, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and a double degree graduate of Yale University, where I earned my Master's in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing and my Doctor of Nursing Practice. I treat patients across the country, across the lifespan, and have focused my doctoral work on increasing access and adherence to trauma-focused care. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I have worked in a variety of settings including community-based outpatient psychiatric and substance abuse services, outpatient private practice, inpatient psychiatric and substance abuse services, and correctional managed healthcare. I have treated patients as young as 4 years old and through adulthood. I have treated a variety of mental health diagnoses, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, autism, PTSD, and thought disorders. I love to watch my patients flourish and reach their goals, and I believe that there is nothing more fulfilling.
