As not only a therapist, but a fellow human being, I believe we are all born with value. What should a new client know about working with you?

I work primarily with young adults experiencing challenges related to neurodivergence such as anxiety, ADHD & Autism, life transitions, and self-esteem. Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade working in the special education field, primarily with Autism and ADHD. Additionally, I myself experience life with an ADHD diagnosis, so this work is very near and dear to my heart. These experiences inform my work with young adults facing the unique challenges resulting from neurodivergence. In addition to my area of specialization, I hold certifications in domestic violence and technology addiction.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In my work with clients, I take a holistic approach exploring self care in the areas of body, mind, and soul. For my neurodivergent clients I work on both a practical level teaching executive functioning and coping skills; as well as on a deeper level exploring the impact of various themes and patterns throughout life. You are unique and so will your treatment be. Initially I will spend time getting to know you and understanding how your challenge impacts your life, and what your hopes for it are. Then together we will create a plan for how to help you meet your goals in a way that feels realistic and authentic to you.
