What should a new client know about working with you?

At Optima Behavioral Health , we believe in healing from within, so a holistic approach to mental health that offers Effective, Individualized, and Evidence-based care is taken. We take this journey together, to help you achieve your Optimal Potential OBH is best suited for low acuity symptom management Clients needing a higher level of care eg: Inpatient Or Partial Hospitalization may not be adequately served at our clinic. OBH may not be appropriate for- Clients who are actively suicidal or Homicidal Who are constantly in crisis Who are actively engaged in using drugs or alcohol Active symptoms of eating disorder, Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia or any other form of Psychosis Dr Joshi DOES NOT prescribe Narcotic/controlled medications Dr Joshi does not accept any insurances, including Medicare, Medicaid or Tricare

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Initial Evaluations- 45 to 60 mins long and will focus on a lot of information gathering, to help understand your struggles and goals of treatment. A detailed treatment plan will be discussed with you Follow-ups- 15 to 20 mins long depending upon your diagnosis and treatment, follow up appts will be recommended to assess the progress every individual is different and so we cater the appointments to their needs. Dr joshi also offers counseling during her sessions as deemed appropriate
