About Shelby Shelton
Shelby Shelton, CNM is an experienced and compassionate Certified Nurse Midwife. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and completed her Master of Science in Nursing in Midwifery at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Shelby truly loves getting to be part of her patients’ motherhood journeys and educating them about the normality of all of the processes that occur along the way. She is passionate about educating and empowering women on the importance of their health and incorporating evidence based-care and therapies when serving them as a nurse-midwife. Shelby strives to help her patients recognize the good and normal, accept the unexpected, and feel like they are heard. When Shelby is not at work, she enjoys traveling, serving alongside the ETX Rotary Club in the Lufkin community, crafting with her Cricut machine, learning about Jesus at Harmony Hill Baptist Church, and drinking coffee while shopping with her mama.
