Getting to know Sheri Watson
Taking the first steps towards mental health can be overwhelming, but you don't have to do it alone. I'm here to provide calm, supportive, and evidenced based care to help you manage challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD and mood disorders.
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, my focus is on personalized medication management to meet your specific needs and goals. I believe in working collaboratively, listening carefully to your experiences, explaining options clearly, and helping you find the right balance of treatment to support your overall wellbeing.
My approach is professional yet compassionate, aimed at helping you feel grounded, stable and empowered to take charge of your mental health. Sessions are held via secure telehealth, so you can receive care conveniently and comfortably from wherever you are.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Although my care primarily focuses on medication management, I incorporate a motivational and supportive approach throughout sessions. I emphasize collaboration, education, and empowerment, helping clients build insight, develop coping strategies, and take an active role in their mental health journey.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
During your first virtual visit, we’ll complete a comprehensive intake assessment to better understand your symptoms, history, and goals for care. This includes discussing your experiences, reviewing relevant background information, and identifying a diagnosis based on established clinical criteria. From there, we’ll create an individualized treatment plan, which may include medication management and supportive, therapeutic discussions focused on your overall well-being. Follow-up visits are collaborative and provide ongoing support, education, and adjustment of treatment as needed.
