Speech-Language Pathologist
NY
Specialized speech and literacy support for children, teens, and adults. Neuro-affirming speech therapy tailored to real-life success. I’m a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who helps children, teens, and adults strengthen their communication, reading, and language skills. My approach is warm, neuro-affirming, and tailored to each individual—because every voice deserves to be heard and understood. I’m a New York State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and permanently certified Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped. With more than 20 years of experience, I specialize in supporting children, teens, and adults with communication, literacy, and language-based learning differences. My practice blends clinical expertise with compassion, ensuring that each individual feels seen, heard, and supported. I have extensive experience working with autistic students, individuals with ADHD, and those with speech, language, and reading challenges. My approach is neuro-affirming and strengths-based: I believe every client has unique abilities, and therapy should empower them to communicate confidently and thrive in school, work, and life. In addition to direct therapy, I offer guidance for families navigating IEPs, literacy intervention, and advocacy. I draw on evidence-based programs such as Orton-Gillingham, Lively Letters, Sounds in Motion, and TEACCH, while tailoring each session to the individual’s needs and goals. Patients describe me as approachable, creative, and encouraging. Whether we’re working on speech sounds, reading skills, or social communication, my goal is to build confidence and practical strategies that carry over into everyday life. Outside of my professional role, I enjoy reading, writing, and bringing creativity into both my work and personal life.
